Carol June Lutz, 66, died Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Candler Hospital with her family by her side. Carol was born February 18, 1950 in Portland, Oregon. She attended Savannah Christian Church and was the Manager of Thompson’s Sporting Goods for over 30 years.

Surviving are her sons, Christopher Anderson and James Anderson, one brother, Bobby Guinn, two sisters, Beverly Guinn and Timora Deleon, and three grandchildren, James Anderson, Dallas Anderson, and Mariah Anderson.

A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

The family requests that everyone wear colorful clothes to her memorial service.

Special thanks to Dr. Mark Taylor, Dr. Gifford Lorenz, Dr. Robert Jones, the 6th floor nurses and I.C.U. nurses at Candler Hospital for their care of Carol during her illness.

Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
